Button description Uniforms probably not worn

Comments Photographs of staff of the Gloucester Tramways Company appear not to have survived, so it is unclear whether or not they were provided with uniforms, though if the situation with other Imperial Tramways Company systems is anything to go by, then almost certainly not. Other than long overcoats (of varying patterns) and drooping-peak caps, there is no evidence whatsoever to suggest that tramcar crews of the City of Gloucester Tramways Company wore uniforms; it is therefore highly likely that marked uniform buttons never existed.
